Ian joined the Financial Services Industry in 1987 after 16 successful years overseas in the Engineering world.

Ian had a very successful career with the Prudential Assurance Company allowing him to thoroughly grasp the skills and knowledge to make him a successful agent, however during this time he recognised clients needs were much wider that the Prudential could offer.  He then decided to become an Independent Financial Advisor seeking out one of the most successful IFA Companies in the UK, Bateman Financial Management Ltd. 

During his time with Bateman’s Ian has become a leader within the industry and Ian has been invited to the annual Million Dollar Round Table conference since 2002 and is an achievement that Bateman’s is very proud of.  This shows a great commitment to the industry as well as to Ian’s own professional development. 

Ian’s qualifications allow him to deal with all areas of financial planning and he is now specialist in investments, pensions, equity release schemes, mortgages and general financial advice.  Ian is currently studying to achieve "Diploma" status giving him greater knowledge and skills which to put to work on behalf on his clients.

Ian is a keen advocate of Independence in the Financial Services and does feel maintaining this does give flexibility, freedom and opportunity to give a better service to his clients in helping them achieve wealth, health and personal development, all three of which Ian pursues with great enthusiasm himself.

Ian does strongly believe in working closely with his clients, working hard to achieve their goals and targets, developing an advice driven philosophy and being able to specialise in the different areas of the Finance Industry to achieve this.
